Weeks Dye Works pearl (also known as perle) cotton is 100% hand over-dyed cotton. Perfect for needlepoint – as well as a variety of other techniques, including blackwork, huck embroidery, tatting, quilt knotting and more – and can be used on different mesh canvases.

#5 is the most commonly used of the four sizes (#3, #8, #5, and #12) because it draws attention to the stitches on an appliqué piece, without taking away from the overall design.
