Happy Acorn Harvest from Jeannette Douglas Designs.
Jeannette says,
A charming little acorn sampler with a highlight on some specialty stitched white acorns – these are done in padded satin stitch, leaf and Mosaic stitch top; Boxed Hungarian stitch with Trellis stitched acorn top. It turned out lovely in the little frame but a handy little pocket finish made it into an e-reader bag.
An embellishment package includes all the silk threads and all the buttons and charms needed to complete the piece.
This design is stitched in luxurious silk. Many “specialty” stitches are used – there are diagrams and written instructions for all of them, making this design approachable – if you have patience (and Google), your initial skill level with specialty stitches will improve with each section!

Stitched on 32 count Vintage Meadow Rue Linen from Lakeside Linens which is no longer available. We recommend Vintage Country Mocha Belfast as an excellent substitute.
