A Needle and Thread Sampler from Jeannette Douglas Designs. Showcase the beauty and joy of stitching with this lovely design.  Flowers and diamonds are done in creamy silks. The tree at the bottom shines with color and life. The verse reads:

A needle pulling thread

Has not changed from old

As mindful of our stitches

A sampler does unfold.

The sampler contains 10 rows, done in a palette of solid and variegated silk. Many “specialty” stitches are used – there are diagrams and written instructions for all of them, making this design approachable – if you have patience (and Google), your initial skill level with specialty stitches will not be important.

Stitched on 32ct Confederate Gray* Belfast linen from Zweigart (2 over 2).

*Confederate Gray is no longer available. We recommend 32 count Graceful Gray.
