Description
Halloween Sampler from Jeannette Douglas Designs. The origin and feeling of Halloween is derived from ancient Celtic harvest festivals, but more recently we think of Halloween as a night filled with candy, trick-or-treating, pumpkins, ghosts, and costumes. May your spooky stitching be enjoyable!
The sampler contains four rows, done in a palette of solid and variegated silk and cotton. Many “specialty” stitches are used – there are diagrams and written instructions for all of them, making this design approachable – if you have patience (and Google), your initial skill level with specialty stitches will not be important.
