Jeannette says,
As many of you know, I am of Dutch Heritage. My parents immigrated when my sister was 2! How proud my parents would have been to see that years later I would go to their homeland and share this piece with Dutch stitchers and teach in Dutch, a blessing.
An embellishment package includes all the silk threads and all the buttons and charms needed to complete the piece.
This design is stitched in luxurious silk. Many “specialty” stitches are used – there are diagrams and written instructions for all of them, making this design approachable – if you have patience (and Google), your initial skill level with specialty stitches will improve with each section!
