Ode to Snowflakes

Snowflakes are a phenomenon that amazes us all. Simply put, snowflakes are nature’s art. The complex, beautiful, symmetrical structure of a snow crystal quite literally arises out of thin air as it tumbles through the clouds. Real snow crystals are hexagons with a six-faceted symmetry. However, for the ease of designing and stitching, these beautiful snowflakes are eight-sided. They include pale metallic braid for shimmer and pastel crystal beads to add a touch of dimension and iridescence.
