Jeannette says,
How many holidays are taken by water? It seems our longing for the sea is always our first choice for a holiday and in stitching it is the same, we are drawn to ocean themed patterns whether you live by water or you don’t. This pattern “Autumn by the Sea” is the third in the journey of the sea in all seasons. It is part of a greater whole- 4 samplers that creates one. You can certainly do just the one season, that is fine too, but they do look lovely together and create a grand ‘by the sea’ sampler.
An embellishment package includes all the silk threads and all the buttons and charms needed to complete the piece.
This design is stitched in luxurious silk. Many “specialty” stitches are used – there are diagrams and written instructions for all of them, making this design approachable – if you have patience (and Google), your initial skill level with specialty stitches will improve with each section!
